After reading all the comments I was gonna buy the 8x but have now found the honor play within my budget and am now leaning towards getting good that instead as it has better cpu fast charge

Checked some forums and tweaks, made force GPU, adjust some settings, delete unsused apps, install custom launcher... the phone is a rocket now. Did I mention I could buy at least five or six honnor 8x phones for the same money as I have spend for my previous phone :) I only hope that in a few years after the support ends, there will be custom roms avaliable. Does enybody know a good AOD app for this phone?

I got this phone for a month and I'd say my review on it
I bought it for its camera and screen and I'm not disappointed at all
Camera is great really and AI algorithm is good I always keep it on, night mode feature is superb, selfie camera is good bright and good colors but you gotta catch its focus spot since as many phones it's fixed focus slow motion quality is good for perpose of slow motion
It's surely is nit exactly 20 Meg camera but not that far from it specially with AI it be amazing it doesn't have eis but in fine sinc ei don't take videos
Screen is good I never had any issue with it quality is great and response is fast and exact
Battery life is amazing on this even playing real racing 3 or playing pubg for hour almost and using social medias I can get about 6 hours sot and maximum sot I have got without game and just social media was near 11 that's amazing
I have only noticed one lag so far and it just showed 2 or 3 times that while in heavy usage as pubg or real racing the notification bar was lagy
Build quality is great reakly
Only I wish it had USB c instead of micro usb

A7 GPU is weaker than 8x
On A7 its GPU is from mid 2016 but it's cpu has been made early 2018
But the mali GPU on 8x has been made and announced early 2018 same as processor
And that really counts because mobile tech flies even one year is huge difference let alone to near 3 years
And it's clear from benhcgmarks of antutu in gsm arean review
About camera A7 is actually 2 can phone and 8x is one
You really counting depth sensor? Seriously
And go compare sharpness and details of A7 main camera with 8x on their both reviews on gsmarena on same Pic that will leave no words
Only thumbs up for a7 camera is its ultra wide

Dont buy this device for camera and display...both are only ok...not even better...battery is gud...i have regrets on buying this phone.....only thing that this device has is looks...other than that nth to do with it...even sound is also poor

Everyone's primary need is camera....this phone fools everyone to buy due to its high megapixel count but the end result is really pathetic...i simply have disarguments with poor camera performance....other than that the device is gud...dont buy if you are looking for gud camera performance..i found this device not even better
