To find out the cause, simply get a new or tested correct charger 5v 2A because usually the usb cable breaks if you use the phone while charging, but there is a chance that you also broke the charging port, because the battery is definitely good after 3 years works just like new for me, but I have already written once how to charge (li-ion or li-po) batteries, means do not allow the battery level to go below 25% and do not charge above 85-max 89%- each crossing this limit is removed by one cycle, so if you stay in this balanced zone then you do not allow the cycles to be take off , because it is known that each battery to protect itself has a certain number of these cycles (300-500 depending on the manufacturer) so when you run out of them the battery starts to mess up.

I observe my phone sometimes refuse to charge and agree tl charge whenever it wishes and i dont know if its the battery again or the software

thanks for the information, but for harmony os it will probably be a long time and I just want it to arrive some day, because I am very happy with the Honor 8x, because it is very reliable :)

pane, 04 Dec 2021I guess you already got the harmony os because it is a Chin... moreYea harmony os is coming global in 2022. talking about the huawei app. Thats certainly known as the "SUPPORT" app. If u cant see it on your app list look it in the app gallery with a sky blue design. And yes the harmony os is beautiful on the display but i also noticed it boots faster than EMUI when i compared it with my huawei y9s but ive no concern for the battery since its stable in draining. Im just inlove with the harmony os icons. Once you get the upgrade you'll obviously look your phone like you are on IOS which is superb and soft to operate 👌👌👌

I guess you already got the harmony os because it is a Chinese model but there is a possibility that others will get the harmony os next year and I would ask you if you speak for the app huawei gallery, did you get a harmony os from there, and write what harmony os compared to android, it was thought that this operating system will make the phone easier and much faster with the assumption that all these google apps do not exist and do not complicate the phone and therefore the battery will be longer, and maybe because at the very beginning I did disable on Google, Google play movie, Google play music, and mine is in great shape.

Then i open my huawei app and there i saw the harmony os 2.0 🤠

And there is no harmony os to this model
I read someone talking about it will update to emiu 12 so I asked for that
And the answer impossible

thanks, i am very happy with the honor 8x , and for now i see no reason to change, because it works great and when i compare it to the xiaomi redmi note 8 i bought for my wife and which is with a similar price and in the same category, i tell you it is a real disappointment, if I knew about all the problems I would never buy, while with honor 8x for now almost 3 years without a singe problem, thanks for the conversation.

It's been 3years with the phone im still confidently displaying it. Irrespective of the finger print placement it still has a good face recognition and the display makes me proud too. Im only glad the phoned still runs on EMUI cos i totally hate the MAGIC UI.
