there is two versions..one is snapdragon 636 and 660..i guess chinese versions are 636 and have pie updates and 660 dont have..my version is ARE-L22HN.Is there any hope for Sn660 for android pie.or just stuck in oreo?

Hi I want to ask whether there is a 6gb ram 128 gb Rom variants as I did find some online shop sell them, I can't find the official statement for 6gb ram and 128gb rom. I'm confused.

Oreo is full of battery bugs problems and also system bugs. I wish huawei and honor understand that and gives us at least pie vers.

I don’t perform any updates on this device anymore because Google services will crash and it’s a hassle to fix it. Best is to stay with the current software if you installed the google services and if it works. I have this humongous phone for a little more than a year and it probably is the phone that gave me the most problems. It is running android 8 with google services and play store and it is fine, I won’t bother upgrading to android 9 and all the hassle that comes with it. Therefore I do not recommend this phone. Hopefully Huawei and Google can get back to business soon.

My 8X Max has a 3,27GB update for Android 9 Pie ready to install. However, since I had issues with Google Play store and services the last time there was an update for my 8X Max, I am reluctant to install this update. Last time I had to install Google services and the Play Store all over again.
The built is ARE-AL00 9.1.0.151(C00E151R2P5)
