Honor teams up with Netflix for the 8X

Yordan, 02 November 2018

Honor announced today a new partnership with Netflix. The streaming service will be offered on the Honor 8X smartphones with a pre-installed app and will play videos in 1080p after the November update that is bound to arrive OTA.

A company executive said the Netflix content will be even closer to the Honor 8X owners. The future buyers will find the streaming app on the home screen, while the current customers will be able to enjoy 1080p streaming once the update hits devices.

The Honor 8X has a pretty adequate Full HD+ resolution on its 6.5” LCD screen. The display is sharp and detailed, but we’re currently working on our full review to test its brightness, contrast, color accuracy, and how they will affect the Netflix experience.
