Well since yesterday I got my dad a HUAWEI P10 PLUS, turning the brightness to about 1/3 of it, it is not that bright. My XPERIA XZ's brightness is set to 1/5 from the maximum and it is slightly not bright than the HUAWEI P10 PLUS, but the brightness level is very close. But if u turn to around the max with this smartphone, I guess u can see it with sunglasses on. I compare with a HUAWEI P10 PLUS is because their FHD & QHD displays are almost the same in terms of brightness for HUAWEI smartphones

Trying to get rid of my old but still very dependable all-rounder Moto G4 and have been hearing good things about the Honor 9 especially for its price. But I want to ask about the screen. Based on it's hardware (and software optimisation) would you say the screen is very bright (even when sunglasses on) in direct sunlight?

I use my phone roughly and there is a big chance it will have a big crack wothin a month. If you want to use your phone one handed and use carefully go for Honor 9 otherwise Honor 8 pro is a great multimedia device. Better screen, better audio, better durability. Trust me hot phone is better than a cracked phone.

In fact Honor 9 is more powerful than P9 in looks and in performance and will never slow down for 500 days. Just that it is very slippery so you need to cover it with a case to secure it. By the way it has corning gorilla glass 3 just like Honor 8 but every other thing is improved. It 's beating all the flagship phones in speed except Oneplus 5. It beat Xioami Mi 6 and even the Almighty Galaxy S8 in speed. It also has the fastest finger print on the market along with Huawei P10. Amazing Device.

I have a coupon to use in a locar retailer and I´n not sure which phone shoul I choose... Honor 9 for 459€ or Hwaei P9 for 429€. Any opinios guys?

I've ordered myself one. Not really fussed about waiting for the 6GB ram/128 GB variant. I doubt the extra RAM will make that much difference and 64GB is plenty storage for me, with most of media files stored on cloud. Can't wait to get to grips with it!
