The moto was quite good but only until lenovo... moreI am very much aware Lenovo has bought Motorola for a while now. And yes I am aware that the updates are slower than ever but does it make them worse off really?
Honor (& Huawei) have been very slow in their updates as far as history/reviews go. Are their phones on Oreo 8.0 or the very least 7.1.1? How often would they update their phones in their lifetime? Not much i say. And do they issue monthly security update too? No.
Do their phones have nano coating to protect against the "basic" of elements such as light splash of water or light rain?
I'm also very much aware that Honor phones have a very heavily skinned Android which doesn't help really with the overall performance and updates. Just look at Samsung. A device with near stock Android such as Motorola (or even Sony) has a much better position for those vital updates. Yes Motorola is slow in the updates but Honor is even much slower. Sony is by far the fastest OEM to issue updates based on what I read and my own experience.
Honor 9 Lite has no nano coating and has an f2.2 aperture on the rear camera.
So tell me again...who is better Honor or Motorola?

The moto was quite good but only until lenovo bought the company.
Moto ain't that perfect now. it is horrible frankly. Gets confused most of the time.
Honor understands user requirements and designed phones with efficient software.
Moto just rolls out an update and tells " Here ! My work's done. Your part now."
Moto is good for developer's. Not for normal users. Understand, company's don't reveal few things. Gotta understand ;)

And having... moreHonor 7X if you are tall and suit phones of that huge size.
Honor 9 lite is nice if you are a short person. It fits your hand well & is very light weight :)
If you want a rugged phone with good looks, it's honor 7x, if you want a phone which looks stunning, then honor 9 lite.

Received update today including Face ID feature! Humble request to kindly provide an update soon which enable fast charging a bit. Rear camera is pretty decent but selfie camera is kind a beast!

I think the 4gb/64gb variant is priced a bit higher. Now that Redmi Note 5 Pro is out for Rs.14000, the price for the Honor 9 lite 4gb/64gb variant should be lowered to Rs.14000.
