The extra 3.7mm (practically nothing) difference has to be mostly because of the metal frame on the bottom. Nothing to complain especially since the phone reviews all praise its built and comfort in hands.

The length of this phone, 146.1 mm, is a deal killer for me. The whole point of a 5 inch phone is to have something compact. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 series, for example, is only 139.3 mm long, an almost 7 mm difference. I don't care how good the phone is, I am keen on 5 inch phones that are as compact as possible. Actually the same applies to any size phone, the aim should be for minimal bezels on the sides as well as top and bottom. It doesn't have to be bezel-free, that's going too far.

This phone is very fantastic please huawei do not waste time bring honor magic 2 as soon as possible with 5'5 inches screen display plus 4000 mAh battery with all other specs intact or even improved. The 5'5 should almost be the same height as the 5.09. I mean don't waste space top and down of the front of the phone. That is why I love Mate series, you don't waste space up and down of the front, also at side and side too.
