        This phone cost me almost 1200 euro, at first I was happy with it. Now I am disappointed. The battery is bad, the phone is full of errors because the software is not optimized and worst of all I have a difficult time to connect with other devices via bluetooth. Overall it is an ok phone but too expensive, quality is not on par for the price and definitely would not recommend it.

          No ever mentions the GPS positioning capabilities of this phone. It uses the same tech as Huawei's high end watches which is far superior to the G23 Ultra. It's very convenient when walking and you need directions in a pinch. Just another reason to buy over other Flagships.

Mine does, to about 70% brightness and when I then drag the brightness slider higher, it doesn't work.

                    Does anyone know for certain on what glass Magic5 Pro uses?
                    I had the Huawei P40 Pro and it's glass wasn't that durable and as Magic5 Pro shares similar design i wonder how durable the glass actually is as they don't mention anything about the maker and model. This is pretty big deal as non branded glass tend to break way more easy than branded ones abd yes, i have repaired a few over the years and every time the result is the same, small impact and the screen shatters. This goes to every non branded protective aftermarket glasses as well.

                      So how long does yours stay on the highest brightness before it starts to lower it in bright sunlight? Did you test it for longer than a few minutes?

                                I received mine last weekend. Coming from de Huawei Mate 20 Pro I immediately liked it. But I already found out it seems to suffer from two really annoying problems that really makes me want to send it back :(
                                Does someone here recognizes these problems?

                                1. When using the phone in the sun (tested on automatic and manual brightness), the brightness is really great at first, but it cranks down the brightness very, very fast, to a level that the display is actually difficult to see. Even with an ouside temperature of around 16 degrees C, when using the phone in sunlight, it cannot hold the higher brightness for more than about a minut. It then dropd down to around 70% brightness and I cannot set it higher, whatever I try. Only after locking the phone, and then after a few minutes the brightness can get higher again, again for a minut or so...This rerally bothers me. Even my old Huawei Mate 20 Pro can hold the high brightness mode for much longer. So in sunlight my Mate 20 Pro display is actually brighter than that of the Honor after a very short time. Is my device faulty? I saw a post on Reddit from someone who experienced exactly the same as I do. So it makes me believe it really is the way this phone display works.... It will be a serious dealbreaker for me if this is just inherent to this phone.

                                2. When scrolling slowly for example in settings or Chrome or Brave browser the scrolling is a little bit choppy. I set the display to 120 Hz, but it still happens. When scrolling a bit faster it is smooth, so it only happens with slow scrolling. It bothers me, because this is the way I scroll when reading news or an article. I didn't experience this with the Pixel 7 Pro or Xiaomi 13 for example. Those were smooth all the time, no matter the scrolling speed.

                                Oh man, I really hoped this phone would be the perfect successor for my Mate 20 Pro. But these two problems really make me want to send it back. Especially problem 1 is a real pain in the ass.

The samsung s23, ultra is better, this is because samsung has the latest corning, which is the "Corning Gorilla Glass Victus2".
