The Picture you attached is you took on 26th of April with Magic 5 pro. But how come the file size is 772KB only? it should be 2 MB to 3 Mb IMG_20230426_132423.jpg 772 KB.... Which Camera Settings you used?

I cant compare it with S23 Ultra cuz its not in my hand. Only i can compare it with mine S22 Ultra, That Honor is far better in Display, Camera, Processing, Multimedia Tasking, Battery Timing as compare to S22 Ultra. Zoom taken picture quality is better in S22 Ultra. Overall Experience Magic 5 Pro Yes.

          bioexcel, 30 Apr 2023were you paid to write this, look at how the battery outlas... moreYes I got 1 million Robux to write that, wtf man I bought this phone 2 times, I come here to give my honest opinion and I get butthurt fanboys saying it's false or "paid comment" do you want forum go to XDA and see the problems people report, check the pic posted here with lens flare problems, read GSMArena review to see the throttling and overheating issues. If you try to hide the reality then good luck with that.

          Also that Youtube video from "The Tech Chap" who seriously takes account of these BS videos that just drain the phone battery from 100 to 0 percent? Do you unplug your phone and you watch 10 hours of YouTube videos?

          That doesn't even come close to real life experience. If that was true a S22 Ultra with Exynos had one of the best 2022 batteries but with real life usage was amongst the worst, that comparison is won by OnePlus 11 and Honor Magic 5 Pro lol both have the worst 2023 flagship batteries (still good battery tho) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max which is the best in terms of battery barely gets top 5 according to that video.

GSM arena drai... moreYes it has overheating issues both of my Magic 5 Pro have had this after 10 minutes of PS2 emulation, ofc it won't overheat if you just use the phone normally. Another indicator is that the maximum video record cap is at 15 min to prevent overheating so they know they did something wrong.

                      I mean in all professional reviews or many people in forums who aren't blindly in love recognise this, many people are returning the phone for overheating, lens flare or both. Also the thermal throttling is terrible, again happened after just 10-15 mins of casual PS2 gaming which is terrible for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone, the only one with such problems.

                      And I'm not using any GSMArena reference for battery lol did you read when I have said "With Samsung S23 Ultra I get 8-9 SoT hours but this one is usually 6-7 hours" so 1:30-2 less hours than the S23 Ultra and yes it had the last update, with March GP patch (still no April patch) it has a worse battery life well that's the truth so what? Still for 900€ in Honor store with a tablet, quite cheaper than a S23 Ultra.

                        Got to use the Magic 5 Pro today at the local shop and it looks great, not sure which i prefer the real one or the picture one ...Anyhoo the back cover is extremely slippery and i can't remember the last time i used this slippery phone. What did they use on the frosted process ....teflon.
                        The tempered glass is an question mark and how durable it is as these unbranded ones haven't been very good in my experience and they do feel thin. The camera area unified glass also worries me a bit as it does on many other ines with similar design.
                        The Magic OS the other hand felt right at home for those used huawei's EMUI. Seriously i could dig up my Huawei P40 Pro (great phone by the way!) and it would look identical despite the proprietary in house apps on them. Then theres the Honor update policy that is bollocks and interested to see how their claim holds up for the Magic 5 Pro or will they forget the promis by the time Magic 6 or 7 comes out. Few other reasons mentioned above are enough that i left this at the store and the fact that Xiaomi 13 Ultra is more to my taste and the fact that at this time you could get Galaxy S23 Ultra (8/256GB) for the same price and an Galaxy Watch 5 (44mm) on top of that.

                          I have received an email from honor support. They say that this is normal and every phone have this lens flare. I need to take pictures not in direct sunlight or they say i can cover with my hand the sunlight. Sorry but i never had this with my other phones

Well in GSMArena endurance to start with the S23 Ultra has almost 20h more which is quite a lot of difference for flagships.

                                In real life usage, I got 2 more hours SoT with the S23 Ultra (around 8-9h daily) vs Honor Magic 5 Pro (around 6-7h daily) while lock screen or AoD were very similar. Samsung had problems with Exynos, not this year with Snapdragon.

                                I have also had overheating issues and lens flare issues with the Honor Magic 5 Pro so I have returned it back, it's the only phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that overheats. I guess it has a bad internal design/cooling.
