There are users who already have the... moreThe only people getting updates it seems are people with the chinese rom and people who own a global version of this phone are still stuck on 7.1.0.150.
I texted their tech support and all they had to say that is: "We will release the update soon".
Honor is the worst when it comes to updates or software support.
P.S. I am a Magic5 Pro Owner

What about updates?
There are users who already have the August patch, but others are still on the May 2023 patch. In my case PGT-N19 remains at .151 of may.
Is anyone else in .151 ?

Hello everyone. I'm currently living in Australia and i would like to purchase Honor Magic 5 pro. I heard Simone told me that the Volte WiFi in some countries not working. Is this one effecting Australia as well? Is Is the international Version(preinstalled google services??)

Like the phone for the most part, specially the hardware side... But there are still some points namely the software side which are very annoying... Main bugbear at the moment is the Always On Display. It's so dim to the point of being barely readable, notifications not in their original colours (green for WhatsApp, red for Gmail etc.) and when I try to use a 3rd party app, it doesn't take properly for some reason and they all eventually stop working. Tried numerous applications on various other phones I have, no issue... Not the case with this phone unfortunately... Maybe if I change the launcher possibly might work, but very annoying...

The price dropped significantly within a short time so everyone paid way too mgh for the phone. Now drop the price a couple of hundred euro more and it's good value for money.

You make that bold (untrue) claim when you have never used the Honor Magic5 Pro before 🤦🏾♂️ When you don't own a Honor Magic5 Pro 😅
The Honor Magic5 Pro doesn't heat up anymore than the other Android flagships of 2023! If you turn on the performance mode on the Honor Magic5 Pro it will heat up a little more than normal. But no real reason to turn it on as little real world difference in performance.
And if you live in a especially hot city/area all phones are going to heat up much quicker than usual when gaming etc. Get very hot if outside in the heat.

They cheaped out by not u... moreHonor didn't cheap out 🤦🏾♂️😅 Honor uses Kunlun Glass sourced from ex parent company Huawei for the Honor Magic5 Pro. Kunlun Glass is made by Huawei as an alternative to Gorilla Glass Victus 2. In real world tests between the two Kunlun Glass is actually quite a bit more durable & drop resistant. Plus scratch resistance is about the same level between the two.
That's on you yourself to blame for not taking proper care of your phone 👍🏾 hence getting scratches on your screen! No glass is fully scratch resistant so you will eventually get scratches on the screen from putting it in pockets. All pockets build up with dirt etc some of which can scratch the screen sooner or later. The only way to avoid it is to use a pouch covering the whole phone for when the phone is in the pockets.
As for the camera lens glass quality in the Honor Magic5 Pro they are no worse than on a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, IPhone 14 Pro Max etc. Glass scratches, you obviously weren't taking care when putting the phone on tables etc. You should have installed a case that covers the camera Island with the 3 lens cutouts. making it much less chance of camera lens scratches when putting the phone on tables etc.

You just want to get a cheap one Chinese because less pricey but that's wrong... It's cost 4150 and no big deal no one cares about it really just people who love huawei or honor but it's still many devices of it not selling well..!
