Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 in for review

This is the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, just after making its global debut at IFA 2024 mere moments ago. The tablet is €599/£499 and on sale today and for that, you get a svelte machine with excellent multimedia credibility.

The tablet ships with a 66W charger and USB cable, which is already a solid start.

This tablet's predecessor had a slightly bigger 13-inch display, but the MagicPad 2 makes the move to an OLED panel with the same 144 Hz refresh rate. The panel has lovely visuals and is very bright, topping out at 1,600 nits!

To fully unlock the MatePad 2 12.3's potential, you can equip it with the optional Magic Pencil 3 and Smart Bluetooth Keyboard. Better yet, Honor is giving the keyboard, Pencil, and the Earbuds X6 for free with the tablet for those that place their order now.

That's a solid deal that nets you a fully-functioning package for a reasonable price.

The keyboard is great with solid key travel and well-spaced keys. It lacks a trackpad, though, and attaches the old-fashioned way - no magnets here.

The Pencil 3 has a 2ms latency, supports 4096 levels of pressure, and attaches magnetically to the top of the tablet, where it also charges wirelessly.

It's a comfortable size and weighs 17.4g.

You can order the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 starting today in White or Black, priced €599/£499. The tablet will begin shipping on October 1.

I'm talking about the desktop mode tho, where it can replicate Windows-like UI. Never been a fan of this iPadOS-like UI since first time.
