This is my updated review following my previous first impression review:
I've stated in my last review how to uninstall those Chinese apps, which isn't gonna be anything you need to worry about.
Now it's been 2 weeks so far, I had a great experience with it and also faced some issues, here I am sharing my experience for anyone who is interested to get one.
We all knew that this note 10 is designed for selling in the Chinese market, so the phone has different policy preset to the phones that target to EU/US or Global.
In this case, it has the built-in Phone Manager/Power manager process which is always running in the background, and you can not stop it. So every time when you press the "overview button"(the third button/square button), following by pressing the trash icon, the build in power manager would kill all the 'third party' running apps including all google's apps. so that means from this point, you won't get notification from the apps just killed, UNLESS the app itself has service process keep running that can pass through Huawei's power management policy.
In my example:
Apps that can pass through the 'power kill' are: Whatsapp, Google store, play and Instagram, these apps can guaranteed to get notifications under this system.
Gmail: I can get the notification but not after the screen off. as soon as I switch on the screen, the notification would back again.
Google(Search or home): it would be terminated if you press the 'overview button', after that if your Google assistant installed, and set it as 'default assistance & voice input' from the setting, it would change back to 'None'. which means the 'google assistant' will stop function until you manually set it back again in the default setting.
The second issue is that I can not get google drive's backup working, I can sync all pictures and videos by google photos into google drive. but when I always get 'couldn't backup data try again later' message. maybe I haven't figure out yet, I guess I have to use other method or apps to back up the data.
A solution to the notification issue:
1. Go to setting-Battery-app launch, set all the apps you want to get notifications to 'manually', and make sure all 3 options selected(auto-lanch/secondary launch/Run in the background)
2. Go to setting-Battery- top right corner setting button- Keep Wlan on(always), keep mobile data(on)
3. Go to setting-Apps¬ifications- notifications management- make sure all the apps you want to get notifications set to enable, then go to top right corner-'three dots button'-lock screen notifications-'Display all notifications'
4. Go to Setting-Apps¬ifications-apps-- Click'settings button' down the bottom of the screen, then--Advanced--special access-- Ignore battery optimisation: set allowed to all the apps you want to get notifications.
5 Open all the apps that can be killed by power manager, using the home button(second/middle button) open one by one, then press the (the third button/square button).you would see all the opened apps on tabs;
On top of each tab, there are 3 buttons, the second one is a 'LOCK' icon, the third one is 'X', press the 'Lock' icon to lock the apps.
From here you would be safe to press 'trash Bin'button as the apps would keep running at background.
Keep in mind don't press the 'X'(closing button) or slide out the app tabs as these actions would still kill off those apps even they have locked.
So far this is the best way I could figure out, the downside of this solution is that those locked apps might consume more battery power and rams depends on the apps, for example, some of the social apps have built-in browser. The good news is this phone's battery life is powerful, with 6GB Ram it handled the situation pretty well.
I guess the perfect solution would still be unlock the bootlaoder root the phone and get rid of built-in apps or install fresh Rom, however I believe most of the users wouldn't take that risk doing that way.
Overall, I'm still very pleased with this device, as I mentioned in the last review, the battery life is highly endurance, the large amoled screen is amazing, the touch and the design are matched my taste, the value of the phone is just great.
Anyway, I hope this would help anyone who is considering to buy the phone. If anyone has a better solution please also let us know, and hopefully, there would be a future Global version for its next model.

Haha, 17 Nov 2018Thanks for your post. How are the colors/blacks/sharpness o... moreNeither myself or my friends own any Samsung phone, so I don't get a chance to compare them yet, but you can check this video out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcmyYJhUDTQ.
However, you would see the Note 10's screen has mesh pixel appearing during his testing video playing, I think that's because of the reflection of his camera recording, although Samsung S9 in that video didn't reflect anything at all. I've also run the exact same video for the test on my Note 10, I couldn't see any pixel at all, very smooth and sharp, it's a better actual result than in that video.
Moreover, I would post something in a new comment regarding this phone's emui 8.2 system that you might need to consider before you make a decision to buy the phone.

I bought this Note 10 in China, I'm using it in the UK right now. Just want to say this phone is just amazing, the best smartphone I've ever had.
Two things are really impressive, 1 battery life, 5000mah, more than 10 hours playing and video watching, still 30% left. 2 7'' AMOLED screen is crystal clear, everything looks beautiful.
For people who worried about Chinese apps:
1 Simply uninstall those pre-installed Chinese apps;
2 Change language to English, delete Chinese input methods, setup the keyboard input to yours;
3 Download and install the Google play store;
4 Disable Huawei browser in the setting;
5 download and install Greenify, hibernate all Huawei's original apps which could not uninstall(unless going for root), except the Game Suite as you need it for the Turbo key to function;
6 Enjoy it, it's a beautiful device.

It works very well on ATT but I can't get Google Pay to work yet. Visual voicemail won't work because it's an unlocked phone according to ATT.
