unfortunately, this good phone will never see the light of global ROM...since it is meant for Chinese market only. This is a deal breaker for me. I was so much interested to buy this. In my country the price of 64 GB version is around 550$.

Anyone yet confirm chinese version working in USA with LTE on any carrier? One person claimed they got LTE on ATT but I don't see how this is possible.

Just bought the Chinese version.. Using it in Hong Kong. Download Google play from Huawei preinstalled app market app.. Delete unwanted Chinese app and working flawlessly in 10 min.. Really simple. Loving it.. The best phone I have used.. Fast, long battery life, good screen with pled, just perfect

I wonder why people say no 3.5mm Jack is negative. In fact it is very good enhancement. Why? Because, many phones have been damaged when you have a headphone plugged to the Jack and you drop your phone hanging from the headphone wire. The Jack damages quickly.if don't believe me ask mobile repair shops. I have had my last two phones damaged the Jack. With the headphone adapter it's rarely possible to damage the type_c connector.

Just quickly disabled everything I could. Still some bits here and there, but nothing bothers me at all. There was no Google play store, I just googled and installed the.app and then quickly reinstalled all my applications from my Google play library. And within 20 minutes everything was same as my other phone mi max2.

How many Chinese apps does it have?
And can you tell about other negative stuff cause the Chinese rom??
I really must be sure there is not to much crap with this phone.
I bought the mi max 3, 1 week after the release, but could not use it for talking 85% of the time because of a very poor signal. I send it back to Sunsky in China, maybe mine mm3 just have some error, but cant stop thinking its because of the chinese rom. But i will see when i get it back i guees. But before that happens i think i will have the Honor Note 10 in my hand, only depending your answers now :-)

I've got the China version in Australia. Have used it for 3 days now. I love it. So far no issues at all.the first thing I love is the sound quality. The phone stays cool at any load. Screen is amazing. Xiaomi list one customer as they lacked nfc in mi max 3. The note 10 is great.I wish it was a bit lighter in weight. BTW, it was easy to get rid of Chinese applications. Overally no issues with the Chinese Rom
