The camera specs looks identical to last years P8max and Huawei's attempt on Note'ish big-version, ewen thow it was 6.8fhd and a little thinner and only 3grams heavyer.
but i notice the 2k record-option on what at first glance looks to be the same 13mpix OIS cam (still RGB+W sensor?)
anyway reason for Huawei not opening up for 2k on p8max series.. judging from specs it should have the power to manage it.
could it come in a FW-update for p8max, or down to hardware limitasions?.

a big screen is surely a big pleasure. very inventive. watching video,text on this huge quad-hd screen is a pure enjoyment. very appreciative INITIATIVE from HUAWEI.
