I bought the Honor Pad X9 just over three months ago. I had checked it out as a possible tablet to buy. I just Googled "Honor Pad" and were very surprised to see an buyers ad coming up from a website in Germany. I looked at the website and it said that they had a Flash Sale for the Honor Pad X9 for 1100 Swedish Krona or 97 Euro or $100. In Sweden it cost 2200 Krona, so I could buy it for half the price. I ordered the tablet and got it delivered from Germany to Sweden in four days. It came delivered by PostNord straight to my door, I just had to sign off on the delivery and had it in my hand. Super fast and easy delivery! I have used it a lot, watching music videos and NHL and Swedish ice hockey and I have also started a Netflix Premium account for movies. Watching movies with the Honor Pad X9 and a good pair of Bluetooth headphones with great bass is a treat! The screen is sharp with good colors. The sound with the six built in speakers is surprisingly good! But since I watch NHL hockey in bed at night, I mostly use my Bluetooth over ear headphones. It is impossible to buy a good tablet for 1100 Krona in Sweden so I made an incredibly great deal! I am very happy with this tablet and can easily recommend it for anyone wanting a good tablet.

Just made a comparisson with an ipad 9th gen and after 4 hours of youtube, sound and brightness at maximum on both, honor has left 11% of the battery while the ipad has left with 67% of the battery. Sound is more round at the honor though apple has more amplitude and at maximum brightness, honor is brighter and imeges are sharper. Although ipad's price is 2.5x more is still worth, just for the battery itself.

It's weird this device didn't get Android 14 update yet . And still running magic os version 7.1 based on Android 13.
They didn't push any software major update since I bought it.
I think you should think of buying X8A model if you need a tablet as it's running newer android version and bigger battery capacity.

Don't buy. Android 13. No android version updates..... Scummy practice. If a company won't support even one android update then you can tell they have no interest in their customers. I for one won't buy their products again.

bloatware, 05 Feb 2024Unfortunately ,no.Study from the full specs . It will tell that there is vdo output feature or DP port slot on the device or not , if not....unable .

Unfortunately this tablet has bluetooth (V 5.1), but dont see the Sennheiser 4.40BT headphones (4.0 bluetooth), which is a big shame 😥😥😥

It's pretty good for the price overall, screen wide and bright , smooth and high refresh rate , the sound is also good , the battery is decent .
