Honor starts April Fools' early with the Honor BFF

Honor sports the slogan “For The Brave” and it introduces another brave idea - a personalized smartphone named Honor BFF with new operating system and customized voice setting. It also gives you “motivation when you need it” and is always on to comfort you. It sounds interesting, but then again most April Fools' jokes are, and this is clearly an example.

According to Honor, the BFF can be your best friend for life. It has an intelligent sensor and machine learning to recognize and remind you of your individual value to the world.

There isn’t an AOD, but you can find AOA - Always-on Affirmation to get you through your day. The BFF will eventually remind you to take a selfie and savor the moment and encourage you to eat the donut you would probably resent later. There are also movement sensors to stimulate and motivate you to keep going “beyond your personal best” - they analyze voice and gesture responses.

And of course, it calls you “sweetie,” “bro,” “bae” or whatever you set it up.

The expected reveal will naturally take place on April 1st. We just have to wait and see if there will be something more or this is just a campaign to tell us that “no phone can replace your best friend/human interaction.”
