I was like you thinking why water resistant is that much important. But i went in rain with my Honor8pro (H8P inside covers though)accidentally, still few drops of water went inside and you know what happened, it destroyed my Screen, audio port and subports for which I had paid Rs 6500 for replacement. Water resistance is very much important at least for the so called flagship phones or phones grater than 25000INR or $400.

Chrsjns, 30 Nov 2017Maybe next year they would put ois..... and at the very lea... moreno one provides water resistance with such specs at this lower price, so stop complaining. these metal phones are capable to survive light rain showers( but no guarantee), can also survive few drops, no problem in that, even iPhone 10 glass got shattered with only 2nd drop. it's best in the range. If you want perfect one, then go for mate 10 series, except headphone jack, they have everything

So far no problems at all regarding navigation, use it a lot, zero problems. I hear there is some apps that can reset your gps settings and fix. Maybe u can google it.

It means that t... morethe alternate of OIS is EIS or electronic image stabilisation, when properly combined with software, it can produce equally good images. And when combined with AI, it can surpass OIS enabled cameras. V10 has a stellar camera.

It means that the picture or video will be less blurry with ois (because of the shaking hands). OIS is a mechanical stabilization (with moving optical lens inside the camera)

No more shitty amoled screen with yellowish white color and burned-in effect! Brightness is also very good, colors are little less punchy but still very good. Battery life... Heh, Mate 9 leave Note 4 in the dust! Also very snappy phone.
So, resolution on Honor doesn't drain battery because it's a lcd screen,but it has effect on processor usage and because of that it drain battery faster. But so it does Note 4 too...
BTW, with Mate 9 I got 3 months warranty on broken screen and additional one year warranty more, so 3 years in total.
