I had a debate with this other dude on a techtablets video who basically said the same thing. Their hate is always centered around a particular detail of OLED that either nobody really cares about or something that doesn't happen often (e.g. burn-in).

All the OLED haters can go pee off. Only a loud minority would say OLED sucks, meanwhile the silent majority prefers OLED.

      3) It's 2021. OLED lifetime/efficiency has been massively improved, and continues to be improved, as it is scaled for mass production. Your comment belongs in pre-2016, but not in 2021. As long as you don't use it at 100% all the time (And at 1000 nits that would be blindingly bright), it will last longer than the rest of your phone. I'd be much more worried about the battery.

          I don't care what they comment in this post. What I'm not proud of is no stereo speakers for high spec and performance this smartphones. Shame on company device and lazy.

            P.S: I purchased a Mi 10T with IPS LCD screen over a Mi 11X with an OLED one. At least I won't have to think about adverse effects or durability or costs of repair of one component.

                So you were using smartphones with OLED panels even before any OEM actually released it? You must be having good contacts in Samsung to get their prototype prior to release.

                Nevertheless, just because you never had experienced its adverse effects doesn't mean that it's not there. There are quite a good no. of people and proofs regarding the same.

                      if this is a honor 50 i will buy

                        The huge holepunch, LCD display, weakest SoC in the Dimensity lineup, and single camera setup are dealbreakers.

                        The design is mostly nice (apart from that hole) but not nearly enough to make up for the flaws.
