Since its not clear how the negotiation with google went and when will gsm return for honor. Seems like return will happen but when will it be and whether it will happen for honor x30 max - that is the question.

I am glad that there is no GMS (Google mobile services)
There will be more privacy not less.
I can replace all the apps and there won't be any google background ad transfer.

Is there a realistic chance it will be later released internationally with Google services? Or is this final and no GMS for this one?

It is sad that in the 3 years since November 2018 when the Mate 20X was released they have not improved design and performance to an over sized phablet .. average in all.

It is a rebranded honor x10 max 5g. Only processor is changed. Even it doesn't have google services, same like honor x10 max.
I think honor and Huawei are still linked internally.

the 77mm wide screen is great for everything yet the phone is lighter than the iPhone 13Pro Max, wish it had a Snapdragon 780 or higher SoC!

JosipFUT, 28 Oct 20212 cameras and Drop Notch??! yes, it doesn't have those useless sticker cameras, even, it doesn't have 2 cameras, it has ONE camera with a depth sensor and it's a great thing.

The dimension looks identical to Huawei Mate 20 X, so that is fine by me. Shame that this phone can't be a worthy spiritual replacement to the Mate 20 X since this phone doesn't have an IR blaster, USB-C 3.1 with HDMI ALT support, and IP protection.
