Kur, 22 Aug 2016Why not Microsoft do like this?Like what exactly? What is it that you're comparing? I'd say that this HP is like an updated 950 XL: slightly larger, SD 820 vs 810, 4 GB vs 3 GB, 30% more battery. Other pros: front-facing speakers (ugly, IMHO) and a B&O partnership (very cool, IMHO). The camera is actually a downgrade from the 950 XL though. For the record, I love this HP but it is a little large for my usage. Hopefully the attention will allow HP to make more Window Mobile devices.

Phablet for business, good device with a great OS.
I am a Lumia user and this phone is really the flagship, but too big for me.
Still it's the phone to beat, HP done well... with this device you really get some work done.

I have to say I am Disappointed that it is going to be Windows 10 Mobile. When I first saw this I read somewhere it was going to be Full Windows 10 and was actually interested in it. I want a Device to run full Windows Applications that fits in my Pocket to Eliminate the need for my Stream 7.

Hopefully gsmarena will give this sucker a full review treatment. It's a full spec'd Windows flagship of which I'm very curious about.

You have to show the market what they need, and I think this HP elite x3 is a beast with much innovation.
Produce a phone with faster processer, higher ram, better camera is not innovation.

They should seriously consider releasing a mini version of this phone with same specs and 5" screen, don't get me wrong, the specs of the phone are nice but at 5.96" it caters to a rather niche segment of buyers, most probably ex Lumia 1520 users would jump into HP Elite X3 bandwagon but such an oversized device is an absolute no no for ex Lumia 930 users.
