"Slate7 is a Good device perfect todo almost everything."
Pros
Slate7 has Good speed and behavior in general. Sound is very good.
Cons
The only could be for Slate7 a better screen resolution but paying much more than what you'd pay for slate7. Screen is good enough for productivity, reading emails, books, games, etc.
Summary
People comparing Slate7 this device with Nexus are going wrong in that way. If you'd like HP to release another tier device request or claim that but do not compare. This device concentrates effort in good process and functionalities for day to day productivity tasks and collaboration. Sound is very good and screen covers its function properly. If you use your tablet to record videos, taking pictures or you are obsesed with having the latest screen technology the you have to look for another tier of table and expend more money.

Just purchased the HP slate 7, brilliant tablet for £129. Does exactly what it says on the tin. For anyone wanting a tablet that you can browse the internet, take pictures, record, enjoy numerous free apps its an affordable practical tablet. High speed and a particularly pretty model. Would recommend to anyone :-)

it has wi-fi connection you can connect wireless and use taljkaton and gogle voice and u will have a perfect phone and sms service. google is available only in usa but if you have a friend in usa he can open u a free google account. talkatone also isa free app

man, this slate is what i was looking for, have a lower specs than nexus 7, but wait man nexus 7 in indonesia is way to expensive and only available in 32 gigs
the 16 gigs storage version in here is rare

AnonD-81417, 29 Apr 2013SD slot will not guarantee anything as device nowadays suff... morewell i don't think u know, but if u root the device and partition sd card, u can use it as internal storage.i have a very old android mobile which came with 200mb of internal storage and now it has 2 gb of free storage out of 4 gb (a 16gb class10 sd card). so internal memory is not an issue

No rear cam n sd card slot is real big disadvantge thn slightly low resolution which is hardly matters in real time usage. I can live with dual core as m not hardcore gamer. Lets bring hp this tab in india with reasonable price.

yes you can do videocall. you just need to install skype.. thats it.

Kikocastro, 24 Apr 2013External micro sd card up to 32gbSD slot will not guarantee anything as device nowadays suffer lack of internal memory space....you can move movies or music to SD card but some app can't be moved to SD card by itself and rooting are not free and easy as Lite user.
