HP working on Windows 10 Mobile apps, likely for its upcoming Elite x3 phone

Himanshu, 09 June, 2016

As you might already know, the Elite x3 Windows 10 phone from HP is all set for launch this summer, and the company has also started teasing the handset. While the device already boasts of flagship specs, looks like HP is giving special attention to software as well.

According to a new leak, the company is developing Windows 10 Mobile apps that are likely aimed at the upcoming handset. One of these apps is known as HP Voice Recorder, and it allows users to record their voice in stereo.

The other one - called HP Device Hub - provides latest info about available offers, suggests relevant apps and accessories for the device, and more.

It is being claimed that aside from these two apps, the company is also working on some other Windows 10 apps. For example, one of the apps is currently code named as HP Alfred, although its functionality is not known at the moment.

Problem is that people would still buy Samsung. With windows they have chance to dominate windows 10 mobile market. Good setup for future(considering windows survives) but still better chances to sell as android.
