HP's upcoming Windows-10 powered Elite x3 to be available in Gold color as well

Himanshu, 04 July, 2016

HP has updated the Elite x3's official specification page to reflect that the device will also be available in Gold color, in select countries. Up until now, the page listed Graphite/Chrome as the only color option for the phone.

The Windows 10-powered handset was unveiled back in February at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC). The phone is primarily aimed at businesses, and boasts of high-end specs such as Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 4,150mAh battery, as well as support for Windows 10's Continuum feature.

As for availability, HP has already said that the Elite X3 will be available this summer, although an exact date or month is yet to be revealed. Reports say the launch will happen after the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update rolls out, which is expected on August 2.
