HTC 10 gets a new firmware update with optimizations and patches

Kaloyan, 22 December 2016

The HTC 10 flagship has already got the Nougat treatment a month ago, but it's now time for yet another update. As of today, HTC is seeding a new firmware version over the air, which turned out quite hefty at 610MB.

Despite the big file size, the change log is quite the opposite - just the latest security patches, and additional software optimizations. There are no new features, apps, or services, everything new is under the hood.

The update is already available on some unlocked units, but it should be seeding everywhere in a few days or weeks. Meanwhile, if you own an HTC 10, you may want to check your update section for notifications.
