this is a very heavey phone/notebook i ust brought mine 2weeks ago.. but this is very good i recomend you buy it but the nokia 6300 is way better and more effiecent due to the pirce

just take it. Not working with destinator 7. bad gps reciever.Not good sensitive. it is not a good pda.!!!!

I've just bought one 3 days ago. Its good, but very heavy. The version I have is the T-Mobile Ameo, which is the same HTC Advantage 7500. I've owne dthe T-Mobile MDA Vario (Qtek 9100) before and it does more than that did. So far no problems at all, and it is now partnering my always-by-my-side Blackberrt 8800. It is very expensive though, and the games I had on the MDA Vario don't play as well, as the scree on the Ameo (HTC Advantage) is squarer.

i live in europe so if i bought htc advantage x7501 (not x7500), would it work? (i wud probably need an elecrtrical adapter, but will it work?)

I think it's time to change my Qtek 9000.
I don't mind about the dimentions and it has everything. Even a high price.
More than 1.ooo,oo euros in Greece :-(

Well the device will resemble a loaf of bread when held to the ear! This will make the user resemble a cartoon character! So I guess one will be forced to use the handsfree, which will leave the hand free to eat the loaf. Next topic: can one touch type with this keyboard? Normally one would thumb type on a handheld device with a QWERTY keyboard and touch type with a normal sized desktop keyboard. This keyboard is between the two sizes. So, does one just point and stab with the index finger??

I have one question for those who already own this pda-phone. Having in mind the difficult pocketability of such a big item, how dou you usually wear it? I a bag, in a big pocket, attached by any way to the belt? I'm interested in its possible use for professional use and would need to carry it all the time everywhere without bags.

here in bulgaria-city varna price is 1300$.yesterday i tested at schop /my neighbour work here/-exelent pichture at day lite/630kb/,in low lite not so good,but normal,video is good,secondary camera for video call is perfekt,dispay is exelent.battery is powerful.i like direkt button on front panel for "opera"-extreme fast 620mhz cpu.we have some difficulties whit bluetooth-to connect whit my n73-show all folders and directory and must copy ,paste...not simple like in nokia.no fm radio,bad.when somebody call me i try to pull out from my pocket/yes i put it in my side pocket in my pants -monster,to balky/-believe me it takes to much time.no have vibration-bad.so thats is exelent gadget for internet and videocall,but for smartphone is too big.i forget to say that loudspeakers are good and display is exelent.

Hi Friends,
I am using the Advantage, indeed a great product but has certain flaws.
1) No Keyboard light, in a dark room go to be careful while using the same.
2) The Screen top right hand side has started to loose colour, the reason being that the keyboard touching the phone due to which this has occured.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS WHEN I HAVE THE PURCHASE BILL AND DONT UNDERSTAND WHY AM I NOT GETTING SUPPORT IN INDIA.
The Global competition has made all brands customer centric, but I guess HTC needs to be trained on the same.
GSM ARENA, will request you to highlight the same to HTC. They need to change thier attitude and be customer focussed, irrespective on the customer being in any market.

super-c video to convert videos is the best way to get optimum quality.install TCPMP player.in the driver option change to AMI driver,,in super-c ,in settings avi formate with enabled DIRECT SHOW DECODE you convert at 480:320 video size .you will get amazing results.i am the first person in the world to find the best playback in tcpmp player for this model
