I will root my device with a custom rom and check for its performance.

HTC Amaze is awesome! It is beauty, power and speed woven together. I have rooted my phone tested more than 5 different custom ROMs on it. Believe me it has never disappointed, it ran all the ROMs as if they were natively build into the device. It has given me more joy than any phone i have used before it

HTC amaze is a good phone.. But battery is too weak.

Every Android Phone has battery problem, I'm using it and I'm not a Light user , WiFi, u tube surfing , emails almost al d day. ! AnD charge only once a full per day. This is awesome phone. As far as battery goes , when u people will use S3 then still u will say it also has a poor battery. So adjust ur self not expect ur phone to b adjusted 4 u.!
