TUSHAR, 30 Jun 2013its 4mp camera...It's HTC's new innovation called Ultra Pixel. That have large numbers if pixels than Mega Pixels.
4up = 12mp
So think how is the quality will if they used 10up.The next year devices I'll hope that HTC should have at least 7 or 8up camera. Because lower ultrapix has lower resolution that will blur the photos when zoomed.

Is it about camera now go and buy yourself a piece of camera. people will undoubtedly be unappreciative. HTC did a wondrous things about this phone and no one is giving HTC credit for this piece of aesthetic. well done HTC adios iPhones

I doubt that they would lie about pixels, if they wanted to make a better camera then they would've given it 13 mp camera, but it's something called RENOVATION. Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean that it isn't invented. It provides better lowlight pictures, I've compared the HTC One camera and the Galaxy S4's 13mp camera, for the average consumer, they both look the same, if they said it was a 13 mp camera I would've believed it.

eu, 26 Jun 2013nokia is using a better cam tech,they are concentrating no ... moresony and samsung have better cams than nokia. the main drawbacks of nokia cams are oversaturated colors and noise.

And the "ultra" pixel has the similar size as a pixel on old, thick phones like Nokia N95 but back then they were simply called "pixels". Today phones must be thin, and camera modules must be small. So instead of 13-megapixel camera with small pixels HTC made a 4-megapixel camera with big pixels because there's no space for a 13-megapixel camera with big pixels in a thin phone. So the camera makes 4 megapixel photos.

WOW!! LOOK AT THAT BATTERY! thats a verryy good battery life there BUT i use my camera alot and i like to zoom in to the details to view it. 4MP would not give much details. need to increase MP! S4 camera is the best seen for me. try to develop cameras from that and make better.

HTC One's camera is more like a professional camera, it is UltraPixel(much more pixels then usual).
GsmArena did nothing wrong when they wrote there 4mp.Yeah, its a 4mp camera but UltraPixel with more pixels in the picture taken.
