If anyone want buy this device.pls cheak ur camera.close hBs with ur hand plam.n see if any pink tin or not. B.coz last time camera have issue .only stabilty with JB version.not Kit kat jb Version old one..thx my exp for hBs issue..other thing. hBs just great to have it..

Zero, 28 May 2014I am not so sure if the specs given is correct, but based f... moreIt's actually 4 Megapixels but utilizing HTC's proprietary Ultrapixel technology.
I have a HTC Butterfly S and personally I quite like the camera as the pictures are mainly shared in FB and whatsapp. Unless you intend to make big print, this camera is good enough as long as you don't expect to have similar quality as a good digital camera, no phone camera can be compared to a good digital camera anyway.

I am not so sure if the specs given is correct, but based from what I knew, HTC Butterfly S had a 4UP (Ultra Pixels) Main Camera. Not just 4MP (Mega Pixels).

I am currently using HTC BUTTERFLY S. Its one of the best phones available in market atm.very good phone briliant..

I am currently using HTC BUTTERFLY S. Its one of the best phones available in market atm.
HTC ONE (M8) is great too not worth the upgrade from Butterfly S but a good phone too.
I just have one issue it takes a lot of time to charge from nil to full. around 3 hours. I am using the original charger which came along.
Can any other Butterfly S user confirm does it take that long to charge? or is my charger slow and i need to switch to another with the same voltage and ampere obviously. Awaiting reply, thanks

high end phone ....
but im very2x dispointed...
cz this phone cannot transfer app data to sd card such a huge obb data .... dont buy if u are hardcore gamers

I just wanted to share the conversation that I have with one of the HTC - Online Support Staff...
You might notice that the staff is playing a safe answer not to tell customer or should I say not giving customer an HONEST answer...
I was just asking if after the Software Upgrade will I get any issues with the CAMERA.
Then the HTC Staff gave me an Answer: "NO:
just telling me that after upgrading the OS to 4.3 Jellybean there will be NO Camera Issues - which is a LIE!

I just bought a HTC butterfly and everytime i take a photo i cannot view it afterwards as all i can see is an exclamation mark in a triangle. can anyone help.

I had BS and it had purple tint. I live in Pakistan so I have no option to get it fixed via hardware cause there's no one reliable. Can anyone confirm whether the update would fix it or not?
Its just in the night other than that in the day its flawless.

stuartc, 04 Mar 2014Got this Butterfly S for some months now and from my experi... moreI totally agreed to all your points in the comments… I am using the butterfly s and I found the phone camera and the stereo speakers are the great features… especially the screen is so high density and crispy clear…..well I use it basically like an iPad mini … always travel with it like a replacement to iPad mini…. I have a note 3 but I just find the speaker is not as great as the butterfly s , well this is not the fastest phone but I have to say it is the most stable and provide me the most basic use for my light traveling… the battery can last me for 1 day and until mid night … for a normal use...
