Sadly the ChaCha is not fit for purpose. Basically it caches contact information and Facebook cache on INTERNAL memory, no matter what you do. You can not move this cache onto the SD card, even though you can move some other stuff there. The end result is if you have a lot of contacts, you are going to repeatedly get 'memory full' messages. Its probably more of an Android problem than ChaCha, but the end result is you are still stuffed if you are a moderately heavy facebook user. Do not buy this phone if you use Facebook a lot, you will regret it within a couple of months.

Another note: The internal memory is not a problem aa you can easily transfer all the data to the memory card (mine shipped with 2gigs). Those 150megs are used for storing text messages, call logs etc, so it is obviously enough.

For the most part I love it.
The screen is Retina-resolution, but half the size. Yuu can't count the pixels with naked eye.
Loudspeaker is adequate, camera is fine, facebook integration is handy, as it ties in all fb,twitter,gmail,flickr,yahoo accounts of people you know into contacts app. Mail works like a charm, and notification system is pretty much like the on the iPhone.
Only downside, coming from a Nokia e63 is that the battery handles only 2 days of usage(as opposed to my previous phone which I charged once or twice a week). I guess it could last for 3 days with less mailing and with keeping wifi turned off most of the time. Keeping the default setting for vibration allerts is probably a bad idea as it drains the battery rapidly - turn it off across the board.
Also I must mention that searching in google through the browser is somewhat frustrating. Auto-suggest keeps correcting my typing as I write, so unless you keep it speedy and do the whole search in one swoop, you might end up with an entirely unexpected result.

Its a very good smart phone and the touch screen is awsome the only problem is the battery thing, i have to charge twice a day and still havent use any media files.

not impressed with the phone this my first smartphone the bat life is poor i charge my phone twice a day im going into my second month and the touch screen put it this way it works with moods when i heard htc i thort this is gods gift to the cellular world now i see its not very bad htc very bad

Brill phone, got mine sim free from amazon.co.uk, and i use it all the time on internet, no prblems at all.

I am an HTC fan. I have a Desire and Desire HD. The build is superb and the overall appearance is a beauty. One month ago, I bought a ChaCha and all my positive expectations of it as an HTC disappeared:
1. The back cover is so hard to pull out
2. The SIM needs a pointed tool to pry it out
3. The left side of the touchscreen today is not responding. I tried factory reset but to no avail.
Come on HTC, wake up. how come you let the sloppy design of the Chacha damage your reputation!
