Very nice phone, cost me quite a bit to get the phone on my contract, but well worth it I think.
Much quicker than my old HTC Touch (200MHz CPU) and as stated, it supports flash natively in the browser.
The only bad thing -> It is a fingerprint magnet :(

hey everyone i just realised why the apple logo is only bitten on one side, its because you can only hold it one way lol !!!!!! an apple a day keeps the doctor away what does half an apple do !!!

Hi All! Do You know when'll the desire support divx/xvid and 720p recording? When the phone was released there was a rumor about an update. HTC support won't give a clear answer. They say: they don't know anything about it. Does someone???

Hey guys,
I would like to share my review with you guys so that people should come to.know what the HTC desire is really meant for
1st thing is the user interface is really so cool interface that I have not seen in my whole life....I.e I have used many phones like I started with Nokia n 95 , then Windows mobile o2 ..then I took the imate just jar and then after that I got the HTC diamond and then the iPhone 3gs I used for around a year and then finally I.gave up with the most incredible smartphone in the market the all new HTC desire for which I waited for around 6 months and then I finally got my HTC desire... I must say one thing that everyone desires for... the phone has each and everything on which moat of people desires for in their phone
2nd thing is the Android software which is really so user friendley that even a new user can easily use it .... the software is so good that I hae hold my iPhone and now I have 2 HTC desire with me right now... if you want your business to be with you where ever you are then this smartphone is a must....iPhone is just a business phone with so many restrictions I.e you cannot synch it with your computer until.you have the itunes installed and you can't put your photos easily and also your media are also not.properly there ...but let me.tell you one that this phone is really very very very nice phone to buy ... just close you eyes and go and buy it .... any one who needs it Mumbai can go to.heera panna haji Ali.and buy it its just for 28 thousand unwarranted which will be a grey market piece bit don't worry its.not like the iPhone in which if you buy the jailbreak version you cannot the updates manually or he phone will get locked its and open firmware and you could just download the updated whenever its available for all the users... this phone is the perfect phone for a business man...Android has given a slap on the face of iPhone and I must tell you one thing that android rules the market and will always rule from nowonwards.....
What if iPhone has so many applications ....so many of them are double and triple the same software
Regarding the afterlife I found it decent to have such a nice phone with atleast one day battery with a minimum usage of around 150 calls and about 15 to 20 sms and atleast 1 hour of WiFi internet and phone internet to be used for the whole days I.e downloading the most recent updates every hour.... tgebqttery life is quiet decent as compared to other phones in the market as if now.... today when you want such a nice gadget with so many features in it so definitely the battery will juice up in it .... so its ok to have so many features in a phone and to use the battery for a day and charge it everynight....
Regarding the loud speaker I found that the loudspeaker is also very quiet decent as compared to other phones specially when it comes to the iphones.... its the perfect business professionally phone .... would suggest you guys don't buy any other phones in the market just go what you desire and that is the hat desire made for .... for everyone's desire
Regarding the call quality and reception also its all good no worries .... I m a Vodafone Mumbai customer and I don't have any problems as on date with the call quality and reception complains...
I using the phone from the last two weeks and the phone is an perfect phone for me.... I love HTC desire and I m loving it.... just go and take the HTC desire and you really love your phone

Hey guys I'm planning to get htc desire.I was wondering if it supports tmobile 3g network because I don't want to spend so much money on a smart phone that doesn't support 3g network. Thank you

Love the super fast speed!
Screen is vivid and the Sense UI is very responsive!
A little small to grip though, almost slipped out of my hand a few times. Maybe i have large hands? hmm...
The addition of android app market and ease of installation is the winner!
Running on 2.1 now, and its much much faster than 2.1, can't wait for the 2.2 update!
COME ON, RELEASE IT OFFICIALLY!

Free Task manager is a super cool one and most popular to kill unwanted apps..
Youtube downloader is good at its job too...
Ringdroid allow you to cut any mp3 song to use as ringtone, notification...
Get some live wallpapers to rock your Desire...
Get some games to kill free times..
All free...
Hope this help.. and remember not to install too many apps since in 2.1 you can only install it on your internal memory, wait till 2.2 comes up, you can move apps to memory card, and vice versa..

I love it i love it i love it i love it....
The speed is super super fast...
The AMOLED screen is super beautiful and vivid...
The Sense UI rocks, i would pay $100 for Sense UI alone...
The hardware and shape are so slim and joy to hold...
The ease of Android is so fantastic...
The keyboard always correct my mistakes whatever i thrown at it with mistakes...
The widgets from HTC are so clever and flexible...
Can't wait for even new goodies and faster in 2.2 update... come one come one... release it officially for Desire owners.. make them Desirable...
