I see you in the X10 forum giving encouragement and also tips on how to improve their x10,o.k that's good by helping others but why all this bashing of other people choices and gadgets,if you have an opinion about a gadget,just state it thats all,you don't need to brainwash other by saying the same flaws in every post and if anyone who wants to purchase anything it is their personal choice and money.(MAN IN SHORT YOU ARE NOBODIES BOSS HERE AND NOBODY NEEDS TO LISTEN TO YOU)"GO BACK TO YOUR x10 FORUM",see you there.

Am very impressed with the feedback on this phone and as my upgrade is due imminently from a Bold 9000 am now very torn between this and the Bold 9700. Apart from BB Messenger does the HTC far outweigh the BB. Would be useful to hear from ex BB users ?

@ Lydon (Lyon) wateva , doesnt matter, all wat matters n intimidated me is the fact u ver promoting a h/s bigtime vch is wrong u shud even paste the defects ur h/s has , trust if u do tat it doesnt mean tat u r a fool , bt if u dont den u certainly are..
@aron this foroum is meant for comments if i hate a phone i will express it , who d hell r u to tell me wat to do, buy if if u can afford , den comment if u like it or not, but dun suggest people not to comment
£15.00 its a deal u can get the Desire in the UK ona 24 mnth contract, so dun suggest me m not selling it to u

Bec... moreit's ok let's not blame those who are less tech savvy. they just want to justify their purchase and make themselves feel better having invested so much in a phone that is obviously inferior in performance. it is a psychological condition in fact. if not, they would not have spent to much effort coming to a totally irrelevant forum just to post their 2 cents worth literally :)

OMG i had the iphone 3g and i trade it in for the htc desire... AWESOME.. what a great phone.. the colour of the screen is beautiful, much better than iphone. AMOLED screen.. the overall is nice... used it for a month now... i thought the android, which is a new software will not have nice apps but i press 'Market' in my phone, which is where u can download free apps, there is so many of apps.. and supprisingly the games have better graphic than the mac's apps.. no regrets for trading in my iphone 3g! HTC Desire FTW!!! =)

Because you compare this phone with stupid cars doesn't mean it's a bad phone. and that's my opinion to think this. All Desire users , pity for u'll no option but to stick with it. As far as comparing ur HTC crap to ferrari , a toyota can neva be more expensive dan a ferrari right? well X10 is check d pricing before talkin abt fuel consumption... if a ferrari consumes fuel it has d damn capacity to hold it u dun hv to stop at every gas station n refuel it have u to do tat ur driving a chinese version of ur ferrari, hahaha, pls drive an original one... n stp provoking people to do the same mistake u dd "bought the desire" which soon will be stopped due to know issues n the HTC wildfire will replace smaller screen better baterry life n not overpriced... Sense UI for both h/s works the same its teh AMOLED vch is better in d desire n also d multitouch , bt trust me all those talkin abt the support for the HTC , tats the thing vch will keep u far from buyin des h/s in d coming months...

I've been searching for at least 3 months to find the wright phone and I was thinking about htc desire, legend and the X10 but I decided to go for the desire! And i have to say that it's a DESIRE to have this desire :D It makes me so happy that i made the right choice to buy this phone!
I hope about a few months i'm still happy that i have this phone haha but i'm so glad it's no windows mobile! Hihi.

don't complain abt the fuel consumption if u want to buy a ferrari. toyota is a great car with great fuel efficiency, so if u cant handle a ferrari, just get a toyota and we all agree that it's good on fuels.
if u get a ferrari, dun complain that it does not have a boot space, don't say that how can someone spend a few millions and not expect to have a boot space to put ur golf set in? obviously, u are not in the ferrari league so just get a car that have a boot then. if u still dun understand what i am getting at, go read up on segmentation and product development, do not flaunt your ignorance here. every mobile cell is built to satisfy different customer, it is that simple.

[deleted post]HTC desire is capatable with US T-Mobile or AT&T (NOT Verizon)... Just make sure your phone is unlocked. If not, contact your service provider and ask for the unlock code. It will take about 2 weeks for the code, you need to pay £15 for admin charge (this won't void your warranty)
I had an upgrade from 3mobile few weeks ago, it came as sim free :) i was very surprised and i am £15 better off ;)
** Stick a different network sim card in and try it out first.... you don't need to do this if you bought your phone sim free **

its really funny
why Sony Ericsson fanboys are located in htc desire forum more than SE x10 forum :)
are they just cant believe that htc easly beats their beloved x10 ?!!
come on guys live with it
simple fact : htc desire is way better than SE x10, because :
1-better design (stylish).
2-more Ram (576 mb vs 384mb)handle handle more applications at the same time.
3-better display (amoled vs normal TFT).
4-smaller size (easy to hold in hand).
5-htc sense way better than SE UI.
6-htc online support better than SE support.
7-htc desire has better battery life (x10 users charge their phone twice a day).
and for those who say that SE x10 has better 8 mp camera, simply I would say Guys its not about the mega pixel. higher mega pixels does not mean that the camera is better. its about the picture quality and honestly htc desire has one of the best picture quality cameras around.

I just received the HTC Desire and wow, it performed really well. Web browsing was a breeze. UI is very intuitive and you can customize just about anything. Optical track pad is very responsive, even though it's been said that's it's rarely been used to some users, but it's a nice addition to the unit. So far, so good!

No offence to HTC , but u cant say once u've used HTC u cant use any other h/s... may be its vice versa, lol, cozz i've used the Hero and will neva use HTC again not even if its for free... will rather sell to to an HTC lover like you...

Anonymous, 19 May 2010bad design and outadated camera i wanna buy x10just go and buy,don't need to tell everybody that you want to go to the toilet,just go and do your business, about the opinion on HTC DESIRE,you should know that the firmware update has solved the memory problem.one more thing that once you use Htc,than it is quite difficult to go for other brands.
