hey guys i was wondering if anybody knows if the desire has an indicator light for incoming texts etc.

Just ordered my via T-Mobile, should be arriving with 4 days apparently!. which is great, cant wait, definitely the best phone out now in the UK, just wish noise canceling was added as to the N1, but not a really biggy.

Have ordered three weeks ago, one week left to get it, waiting impatiently, and just wondering these points;
1-) FM Radio with RDS, or w/o RDS?
2-) Scratch-resistant surface, or not?
3-) Ability/availibility of multiple keyboard languages and layouts (downloading from official source also acceptable) for user to switch from one to another whenever required(?)
4-) Leather case (like the one HD2 comes with)?

Am at D verge of purchasing this phone, but this emerging issue of nt syn with PC has to be resolved by HTC; OR l change my mind.

as u can see iphone is slightly bigger, but why they announce htc-desire with 3,7 inch?? can somebody answer me?

the prediction of apps is 150.000 in the end of the year.
And not a lot of duplicates as the app store ;)
Android will become huge and the best.

Believe me, Android is going to get HUGE.

Just received the phone and it's pretty fantastic! Good size and great functionality (once I got used to it, it's my first smart phone). Took me a while to realise the manual is on the memory disc.
Now trying to find the best movie player to add, any recommendations?
Oh, one small issue, having trouble Syncing to pc. Not getting any response from Sync Now or Sync Manager - any suggestions? This will become quite an issue if unresolved! :/

I have just received my desire moments ago. First impressions very very good! The screen is GORGEOUS to say the least and is very responsive.

just more the n1,but if you are fido or rogers user,please choose n1,because n1 can used 3g network in Canada.i have n1 used for one week,i like it so much.also i bought one more battery and the desktop charger is really useful.

Fantastic handset... Extremely responsive TouchScreen, rapid to switch between apps. I have used iPhone since they were born... This is truly the heir to the thrown, in fact it may have pinched the crown from Apples beleagured head!! Suitable for any user...Excellent email clients, awesome Social Network integration... Will be the king once Android Market Store is worth shouting about!!
