So this is the first Nexus One clone!
I hope it will not have a geographic limitation market like the N1 and be available in Middle East pretty soon

Catalin, 16 Feb 2010Get the Nexus One instead of this, due to the following rea... moreSorry to say Catalin.. but that is a horrible comparison. The optical trackpad is in every way superior to the trackball. Do you see computer mouses with them? No. Why? Because they collect dust, dirt and the inner components eventually break down. Less moving parts = Less prone to damage. However the Nexus One has dedicated touch keys. In my opinion I'd have to say that the fight between the two would end pretty closely. I don't know enough about the software of either phone so I won't comment on that.

Despite almost the same specs (Processor, Display, Battery) the Desire has about 2 hrs less talk time than the nexus one. Any idea why this is so? Is it the HTC Sense UI that's sucking up the battery. What size does this record video in? In specs i read that the format is .3gp

Get the Nexus One instead of this, due to the following reasons:

                                      - You will get much better support from Google: faster updates to newest stuff, longer time supported by Google.

                                      - The optical trackball is in fact a disadvantage: with the Nexus One, when you have new email/sms/missed call you can see the trackball light regardless of how the phone is positioned. With the optical trackball, you won't see the pulsating light properly !

The only advantage of this phone is better positioning of the "Back" button for left-handed people. Pressing the Back button on the Nexus One if you are left-handed is hard.

I wanted this phone so bad, but the size became a problem for me now ;( The rumor size would have been perfect!!
