I have had the HTC desire for 18 months now.its been back once for a component failure in the earphone speaker otherwise OK.it has 2.3 gingerbread works in Asia and the states.its UI is far Superior to the iphone for partially sighted people.Battery life is one day of hard use as with most smart phones.Great phone my next purchase will be icecream sandwich.

I have used the HTC Desire for about a year now, and it is by far the worst phone I have ever owned. I have to constantly charge the phone. When fully charged and no use, and disabling wi-fi and bluetooth the battery will last about four hours. If you do not disable wi-fi and bluetooth the battery last about three hours, again with no use. If you actually use it the battery will last about two hours or less. Charging also takes forever. I try to start the day with a fully charged battery(I charge it all night). By the time I get to work (about 30 min.) I have 3/4 battery. I then plug it in again and let it charge while I am working. By the time I get home in the evening it is dead. I usually do not go directly home. I ride motorcycles on the weekends and I just leave the phone at home because after about three-four hours the phone is dead.

i have been using Desire since 6 months i have problem in touch if select one application another application will open and when call is coming the answer button is not accepting how can i salve my problem

Well I have been using it for the last 4 months and i'm loving it. Totally satisfied with the amount I had to pay for this phone.

after 10 months of being with me i am now selling my desire.... i have no regrets in buying this phone. still is the greatest mobile phone ive ever had. in terms of functions build quality and uniqueness... htc desire is still the best. i am selling my htc desire for a change.
but im very happy to hve bought and loved htc desire.. hands down kudos to htc desire! =D

I just need to have settings options for Call History, I mean, I want to make "Call Summary" after ending each call, please help any one if possible !

The HTC Desire is one of the best phones on the market. They are so popular and they are a great little phone. But not much internal memory, so you will need an SD Card. I would recommend this phone to anyone.

Sneef, 01 Jan 2012not great battery, my girlfriend has a samsung mini and her... moreI LOVE my HTC desire phone.. the battery last longer when you use the phone alot. I have a LG Optimus also and my HTC is 100times better...great phone!
