after 1 day of good use including some wifi and gprs around 40% still left after updating to GB..bought brand new from Saholic.com for 15500 rs..it was good bargain..got with bill and one year warranty..shipped by bluedart..took 4 DAYS. worth the money

its not ota...its fresh install. have to download from developer site..easy to install..battery life has definitely improved..great htc

Is there a OTA update avaiable for Andriod 2.3 in Inida. I use a HTC Desire which is purchased here in India. If it has to be updated using HTC Sync, please let me know the details steps to update and also let me know, if i loose any Warranty on my device if i update it using HTC sync....

Ive updated my set to gingerbread using the RUU. FYI, u will not get the new sense. it is the same sense. Maybe they will update it later.. U will not be able to tell the difference when u first see the phone after updating. it is almost the same as before. just 2.3.3 in ur phone status.:)

amoled or slcd. difficult to order because you might end up getting the wrong screen. htc should've given each a different model number.

For HTC desire owners i recommend that you install an alternative ROM like insertcoin from xda site. You will het more space for installing apps and sence 3 gingerbread 2.3
