Hi, I purchased HTC 626g+ last week. Two issues I am facing.
1. HTC claimed that there is magnet sensor. But no sensor available.I checked with CPU z software.
2. no ringtone facility for outlook inbox email folders. If any new mail . No notification ring. But for inbox mail it Toussaint there.
Any solution?

I just want to say that after 5 years, the htc desire that I've bought is still smooth and fine as if I've just bought it yesterday. I bought an extended battery with casing and now it can lasts up to a day standby with 4 hours of sot at max brightness. I use it for watching series( yes i know the screen is rather small), my alarm clock, my backup phone for other line and also to browse fb after I've off my main phone to charge it for the night.
Dropped it countless times and even tho it has some tiny dents and is roughened up, it still looks sexy. ^_^

The HTC-601 dezire is a good phone but the company is having horrible service back up and the service station in Mysore is filled by lazy and lethergic people who does not care to respect the customer.
I gave my phone for repair and they took 10 days to decide what to do, and other 15 days to get the part. Still I am praying for my phone. New purchasers please donot buy this phone, go and purchase anything else.

It is my first smart phone, and I purchased it 6 months after its release. It's now 5 years since I bought it, and it's still operational.
The only constraint was the limited of size of RAM and ROM. I even rooted it to test custom firmware like cyanogen, and etc.., but I reverted it back to factory. As I uses my notebook day and night, I don't see the importance of changing my phone for an extravagance one. By 2015, the phone can hardly support 2 useful applications without any lag.
Therefore, it's all about how a user uses its phone.

Number one worst mobile... i am using HTC desire 816 dual sim mobile from past 8 months ... following are the problems i faced.
1) No network ... even near the signal tower.
2) Touch abnormal functioning.
3) Low voice to listener while on call...
4) Low battery backup.
5) Very delicate..
Here one great issue is there.. with the above problems I have given my mobile in HTC service center (Ammerpet, Hyd),
They informed me after troubleshooting, will send sms .. I never get. I planed to call on HTC service center office land line number… they never attend the cal.. I visited service center personally … they said again we will sms you.. after troubleshooting….
So when they will send sms…???? No time spam… after a year??? only god only know….
We have to pray the god for that….
Finally it is worst … service provided by HTC… (TVS electronics Ltd)…
So I request all of you.. to not buy any HTC product….. (U will same your money and Time…)

HTC phones are nothing but garbage. I bought a htc desire 601 and after a couple weeks the battery started losing its charge and would only last a few hours just sitting on the table on sleep mode. After about a couple of months I plugged it in for about twenty min. and good thing I checked it cause it melted all to hell from the inside out and could have burned my house down.I sent the phone in for warranty repair and they will not cover the damage or replace the phone. They expect you to pay $150.00 even if it is under warranty. DO NOT BUY THESE PHONES THEY ARE A FIRE HAZARD AND WILL BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN.

I have been using an iPhone for the last 4 years and when my last one broke I decided I should switch to android like the rest of the world. I am so disappointed in this phone. It is literally awful. My camera is brutal, the pictures come out very blurry and there is no flash. The screen does not get bright enough to see during the day in the sun even at its highest brightness level. It is really slow and I know for sure that is not because of my carrier because I never had this problem before with other phones. When the phone is connected to my computer the screen suddenly because ridiculously sensitive and can't be used. Some of the applications I used before on my iPhone don't work on this phone. Really, I had only heard great things about HTC phones and was so excited to get one and now I am just disappointed and frustrated and feel like I wasted my money.

Wrong. My HTC Desire has an 8 MP camera, not 5. The resolution is well above 3000xsomething.

the website says its having 8gb internal storage but my htc desire a8181 dosent have 8 gb internal...?
