I don't understand why they use Snapdragon 400. They should use snap dragon 430 or mediatek 6750.

It seems htc is not purchasing the soc rather collecting the old scraps thrown unused. A beautifully designed phone with crap hardware.

This phone is almost exactly the same as the Desire 816, released 2.5 years ago. Only actual advantage is storage and RAM. Why not use Snapdragon 425 or 435 or better????? This phone is not worth buying at all. It would have been great back in 2014.

Releasing High end Phone with
4Ultra pixl camera
or with midrange chipset
or with low market OS (windows)
or with ugly specification...........close your company or sell it and go home and relax HTC

I am a HTC fan and I own a One E9+.
But this phone is garbage, for it's price I'd rather get a Asus ZenFone 3.
Even ZenFone 3 laser with it's S430 SOC is still a better buy at a lower price, in a metal build, with a bigger battery, and more RAM.
What is wrong with you HTC!?
A S435 SOC with at least OIS and IMX258 would make it at least worthy of considering, after at least a 30% discount. But at the current specs, unless they sell it below USD$100, if not, it's doom.
