I have this phone for only 1 week,and i get 6-7(even 8) hours of screen usage and few days on single charge ,I had htc u play as well and it had horrible battery life comparing to this,I just got a notification for system update,should i update it ?

I'd take plastic and aluminum phones over glass phones anytime: easier to repair and the back doesn't shatter. Sadly, upper midrange is almost fully occupied by glass sandwiches.

I am HTC user from past 4 years. This month planning to buy desire 12 plus. Usually I love HTC mobile designs same in love with desire 12 plus model. However, I am worried about phone back covering because in my reviews all are commenting stating back covering is plastic not glass as mentioned in specifications. Please ckarify. Thanks in advance.

PLEASE avoid this phone, I have purchased this phone over the weekend and it was delivered today. The phone keeps freezing and becomes non responsive, I am very disappointed as I paid £199 for something that doesn't work. I have contacted HTC and await there response. I want my money back from them. A disgrace and shame on you HTC.

BuluJubo, 12 Jun 2018I am owner this phone. i have used it for 1 month.... This ... morePersonally I haven't had any problem with wifi, and it has very good reception too. And the 4G carrier reception is also very good, equal to Galaxy S7 Edge and S8+ even in my problematic region in which many phones struggle.
I'm very surprised by the camera's quality, it's good even in low light, despite the high f number. I guess they used to back-side illumination, and it has high quality focus ability too.
The processor is great and unlike the "flagship phones", this phone never gets ridiculously hot. Very nice. I don't need super speed - good speed and usability is much more important.
The most important thing in a phone other than reception - the speaker and mic quality, very clear. People can hear me clearly and I can hear them clearly. This can't be said about many other smartphones.
Nice design, and very light. Yes, it's definitely worth the price.

I am owner this phone. i have used it for 1 month.... This is really crazy phone. very fast.... never hang.... This is first time i using HTC. Now i know why HTC is more expensive. For me, its a little bit pricey because they make good quality material. This is my conclusion about this phone
1) Battery = Perfect, Battery almost 2 days. I very-very satisfied this phone (because using 720p. HTC so brilliant .
2) Processor = Very fast even using SD 450..
3) Camera = OK.. even bokeh also good.
4) Speaker = Very loud. even did't have Boom system
Problem = only i have 1 disappointed this phone. Wifi. wifi hard to connect. need to lock phone and unlock,... then wifi will connect.. hope HTC can update this bug..
Overall i really like this phone.
Good quality for price... i very hate people who compared with rubbish brand like xiaomi, oppo.vivo...asus.. that all rubbish phone.. always lagging....

They should use SD 660 in Desire 12+.
Why this poor chip in 2018's hTc.

I think its good that they increased the battery backup in this phone where by my phone HTC desire 820 only have 2600 mAh

Its good news that HTC is coming with some new models. But what about the products which are already lying with the retail and their former channel partners ? The company have cheated their partners who have invested good money in their earlier models. Still many of the distributors and retailers in India are struggling to liquidate their old stocks in the market and company officials have kept a deaf ear towards all the genuine pleadings. SO... be careful to deal with this brand. We have lot of evidences to prove that their dealings are not fair.

Since it is not launched in India, you might not have, yet u r giving opening like an expert merely watching the specification only. Probably You are comparing it with mi phones, which are of lowest quality products I know as I m using. HTC is better product be informed.
