Yes!! This phone is now for sale in the UK for £199!!
BARGAIN!! Just buy it!
It has a large screen, great looks, fingerprint sensor, 8.0, decent cameras, front flash. The only downside is the processor for 3D gaming and a 720p screen. (But as far as screens go it's a damn good one)
For most people who use multi-media this is the perfect phone!

Hello. In Ukraine Sams j5 (2017) 2/32gb Exenos 8 x A53 cores 1.6Ghz cost START from = 240usd and sams j7 (2017) 3/16(!!!)gb Ex 8x A53 cores 1.6Ghz cost = start from 265usd (last year was from 380usd!!!). Now sams present new j8 (6.0") like this one with QSD 450 4/64gb = will cost around 300usd (somewhere). Has HTC D12+ chances for good sales? Of course! And other HTC too. Maybe not in US or GB or West Europe. P.S. My phone now is old Sony X (f5122) - qsd650, 3/64gb cost me around 230 usd.

HTC!! Why have you not got this phone for sale yet? You announced it on 20 March 2018 and to date it is still not for sale in the UK! Today is 19 May 2018.
How can you expect anyone to remember to buy it when you take this long to put it in stores or even online?
I have been rooting for you guys but your lackadaisical approach is going to be your undoing!

I have a snapdragon 400/ 1 G ram and it's still enough for my daily tasks. The pricing maybe HTC's main problem, but a sd450 should be enough for anything you throw at it save for heavy games

And obviously in that they can't make good medium-class smartphones like Xiaomi. For ex: Htc desire 12 and 12+ are suggested on the main russian site. Of course it's a trash because mediatek and 450 snapdragon with 32/3 gb memory isn't enough in 2018. And again we look at the Xiaomi smarthpones with 600-series snapdragon and 64/4 gb memory with the smaller price. Back again to the russian market-we can't get officialy u11 eyes which is spectacular with its price and specifications that are almost the same as in the u11+. Of course the same for the u life. So they get what they deserve

The money invested in making this phone could've been used to manufacture the Pixel 3 phones, which are going to destroy any HTC's own phones anyway.
They should stop making their own phones and just make Google phones instead. Not only can they regain a lot of profit, they will be known by many again like they did in the early days of Android.
If they really want to make their own phones still, then they can just make their own flagship with lots of features and specs at a reasonable price.
With it, they can be known for the new "flagship killer" of this era since OnePlus is starting to go away from it.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 says hi!!!...... Not only cheaper, it has bigger battery. better camera, USB-C, bigger RAM, and much much much better SD636 SoC...
RIP HTC u wont be missed.

Small battery for a 6", atleast it has 3.5mm jack. But then again there are much cheaper phones or same price point that even has SD450 or better SoC SD630/636.
