I got the update yesterday, it was just something small, but today I'm facing problems with the speaker, first I can't hear anything when someone is calling me, then the ringtone didn't play at all. When I turn on the speakerphone it sometimes works, sometimes not. Turned it off and on, got the battery out, supposedly it works now but I've only tried making 2 calls. Did anyone else have a similar issue?

Hi i am using HTC desire 500 from last 6 months.In this phone there have some drawbacks 1st one is no batter backup in there 2nd is no camera clarity 3rd is sometimes its goes hang and giving keypad problem also. As per my experience don't buy this phone.

Try another service provider. If it doesn't work then go to service center.
Please check offline mode is off and sim is on.

never buy htc products after sale servive is very poor. I have a htc desire 500 and battery backup is just 5 hrs and service center says htc 500, 600 has poor battery backup and u have to charge it twice a day.

i hatee hate hate htc
i buy the phone desire 500 from two month
now not work its off and on
play alone ..
i couldnt do any thing remove the battery and sim card..return back battery and sim card same problem off and on all the time alone..
hate htc hate too much
no service nothing

didnt work for me. went to service center, they say it`s due to bug with the latest update, so they will revert the old firmware & i would not be able to update the phone to latest software ( thats not a solution for me )

Get 3g connection open play store and leave it like that for 15 minutes, your play service needs to be updated.
If it doesn't work then please check that play service and play store is not disabled.
