Nice processor and camera clarity. Only thing that is odd is really low battery back up and it takes too much time to get charged.
Battery provided is not apt for a fully loaded phone with HTC sense.

htc desire 500 is an superb phone which you cant compare to any of the galaxy and xperia phones

at this price, 20500 INR, you can get sony xperia sp. which is 500 KM better than desire 500. It's just a 15K phone. htc oversucks.

The only thing that is worse in D500 is 1 GB internal storage for user. Old Adreno 203 working smooth like as top sammy's, "Beats audio" quality beats all other phones include iPhones. For "Beats Audio" you need really Hi-Fi headphones or top amplifier with good loudspeakers.

Brought this mobile today and I just loved it . It feels very light on hand and very good camera clarity both front end and normal and it it prety fast .I just liked it .

even i was expecting it should be not more than 16-17k.
but it had dissapointed me...n nw i have to go for other brand....sony xperia sp and c is much better

hi frnds I m from India n I m waiting for htc Desire 500 in India with a price tag with 15k ...but htc disappoint me now it released in 21k in India its very expensive I can't effort it now I will go with other brand ...I like htc smartphone but its overpriced and htc is going down ....

Shame on you HTC.
Your shares in markets are losing day by day but still you are not getting aware of the fact that in india what matters a most.
No doubt phone is good but price tag is too much costly.There are many others options in this price
( sony,samsung,micromax,xolo,nokia).
Really Disappointed
