the only big weakness of this smartphone is about it's GPU .where you also can find out this from its video recording if you're not familiar with adreno GPUs

I bought this phone last week and it's really nice. Battery life, interface, speed, gaming, and camera are all good. Worth buying!

Considering the price of mobile specs of mobile are too low
In 21k(indian rupees) i.e. In xperia sp u vl get krait processor instead of old a7 and andreno 320 gpu instead of adreno 207
Xperia sp can be used for graphics intesed gaming too

Love this Phone. Great Price. Quad Core. 720p recording. Dual SIM. Ready to use in just few second after clicking power button. I think it Has super lcd display. Only internal storage is too low. Could be a succes.

that's an excellent move from htc, only costs 260 euro and we are talking about a premium looking jellybean quad-core smartphone... at last a smart pricing from htc! it's goin' to be a big success. on the other hand why don't they use the superb slcd-2 and they use a rubbish plain tft instead??? pffff...

Soniya, 31 Aug 2013Hello I m going to bye 'HTC desire 500', Please anybody can... moreI absolutely love this phone, HTC Desire 500 its fast, very fast. Descent sized screen and the quad core process makes it a dream to use. It looks big when you first handle it, but its incredibly light and theres just no lag in it at all.
Lots of space for pictures videos etc and the sound is just great esp with Beats Audio. comes with a dropbox a/c too so you can back every thing up. Very little bloat ware too. It has Android 4.2 which is really easy to use, Im a heavy app user and the battery has lasted 3 days so far, now down to a 1/4, but I have been using the speaker phone Radio (tune in) very clear no skipping or lag, looking and downloading from the Internet and android market.
