Worst phone. Its money wastage device ever. Shows too many errors and battery backup is too bad. I am using this phone for last one and half year, no software update given by htc for this. I changed this one time because of motherboard fault. I am using this just because my brother gives it to me as my b'day gift, otherwise i will throw this. I need software update.

Worst phone ever. Really2 bad performance. Lag everywhere. Until now still no update. Dont buy it. Just waste your money.

Totaly money waste, I bought this phone 16800/. fetures is not availabe according this price ,not update , battary problem shown. Only looking good, hates this totaly money waste....nobody buy amy htc phone please......

its been a year now and there have been no updates except one firmware update . The only thing i like in this phone is the beats audio . Except this one thing the phone is not worth buying . Total money waste

I am using this phone since 1 year 20 days now . In the begging when i bought this HTC 501 Dual sim , it was running perfect . But as a year past by all sort of problems like network problem , sim slot one not detecting the sim card , battery doesnt stand for long etc etc . Its my first HTC phone and i am highly disappointed with this phone .

I have this Phone Its A Good phone but still running on 4.1.1 jelly bean.... uptill now no system update.. need system update badly.. because now a days the other handsets running on 5.0 or 5.1 lollipop..

I have bought this mobile on 21st feb, for 1st 3 months it was good. but then battery prblm, camera prblm, no updates.. worst phone, but it has very good features..

battery is low because of 2200mah battery it gives 2 hours only dont buy these mobile

worst phone forever , on the fiest day there is 100000000000000 problems i used it 1 year 10 days , and my experience says anything you buy but dont buy htc phones bcz i am caring too much of my phone but mother board is damage in only 1 year. i spent rs 16500 and no value of money they are made phone mobiles only for a year . iammm soo much frustrated

It is the worst phone ever made by htc.i hv been using htc since its launch in india. but would like to say desire 501 really did not even get close to my expectations.the phone suddenly hangs all the time,too slow to install or play any games. many times cannot even handle intetnal apps well freezes all the time.takes almost 5 mins to open watsapp..moreover no update since release.
overall i would say really disappointing work by htc.

i have a htc desire 501 dual sim smartphone. sometimes it leaves signals and doesnt automatic reconnect to the network. i used to thought that its a network problem. but when i checked same network sim in another brand mobile at same time, i found that signal reception is okay in that mobile and htc is leaving signal at same time.
i dont know why am i facing this issue. whether its a particular handset problem/hardware or software problem or what? but its annoying. other than this its a great mobile.

I bought this phone in feb 2014. Since the day i faced many problem in this phone. Ultimately on the January 25, 2015 phone failed in many function. I submitted phone to service centre kamla nagar New Delhi against promice of return in 7 days bcoz parts was not reddy in centre. from 6 feb 2015 customer care service took time from me gradualy like pls give 24 hrs or 48 hrs in this way they took extention almost 8 to 9 time in this process they made fake promices. now they are saying with shamelessly pls wait till 9 march. very very very bad company and very very very bad customer care service.
