My mother has recently purchased this device and I'm seriously impressed with the 626 the ui is very snappy compared to touchwiz. I would defiantly recommend this device to someone who is buying their first smartphone.

Worst phone. In just 2 month it started showing its colour. My contact list takes time to open,sound quality not good, whatsapp is not working nicely ,phone is getting slow hang auto screen off and what now

There is no magnetic Sensor in the HTC DESIRE 626. Compass App does not recocknze such a sensor which should be built in according to the product description !!!

But if your preference is camera, this is not for you. Camera is not up to the mark. You should go with HTC "E" or "One" series. I recommend HTC E9 & M8.

I plug in my new skull candy ear buds and the slightest movement makes the audio all fuzzy, and I feel as though the music is not playing 100% through the earbuds because it's not half as loud as it should be

- 626 uses 4.4.4 (Kitkat) and 826 uses 5.0.1 (Lollipop)
- 626 uses SD 410 chipset and 826 uses SD 615
- 626 uses 1GB RAM and 826 uses 2GB RAM
- 626 uses normal 5MP front camera and 826 uses 4MP ultra pixel Camera
- 626 uses Normal audio and 826 uses dolby audio
In terms of size, 826 is bigger (158 mm) than 626 (146.9 mm). If size doesn't matters, 826 is better choice.
