I am planning to purchase this device. My main purpose is phone call, internet browsing, listening music and very little photography. My previous phone was Desire 610, unfortunately I lost my phone. I like screen between 4.5 to 5.0 inch. My budget is around $200. So, all users are requested to mention is it right choice or not. Thanks

I just bought the device on Sunday Aug 10th 2015 - yesterday. I think that it is a great cell phone, nice screen (I haven't used it outside though); I've linked up with Google and all of its FREE services; I bought this device for the two front facing stereo speakers, the music is great.
BATTERY: The specs on gsmarena dot com say 20hrs talk time and hundreds of hours standby time (HTC web site says to be determined), I am not sure. What I'm sure of is that I got six hours of use on the internet, reading the news and checking out the phone and getting used to it; trying to remember all the icons and settings. You can set up the phone for how it uses the battery or it will start using it's battery saving features as needed. What I can tell you it that Google Chrome is a battery wasting HOG!
Camera: Rear 8MP rear camera - I've used the video recorder feature once and it took an OK video inside the house. I've the camera feature once inside the house and the pictures were OK (at the end of my marathon 6 hour run, the camera would not use the flash due to low battery). I believe you will get very good pictures and videos indoors or outdoors with good lighting. Check out the Zoe feature; it takes 20 pictures in 3 seconds and you get to choose the best one; I have NOT used that feature I just read about it, on HTC website.
Camera Front - 2MP - I have not used. At 2MP the pictures will be OK in good lighting. My first electronic/digital camera 15 years ago was a 2MP, don't expect super great pictures on front camera, but only OK ones on the front. I believe that you can really tell whether a camera is good, is to use it a lot, in many different conditions and make photos of the pictures in regular size and 8"x10" size also. Then you can tell if that camera is a good camera.
Screen Display - Very clear.
SD expansion - 128gb - Like I said I bought it to play MP3 music and play FLV videos on it and that is quite a bit of storage space (HTC says up to 200gb, but nobody makes that size; 256gb full size SD cards are barely coming out).
I hope this helps with making choice in getting a new cell phone and a DESIRE to get this new cell phone (pun intended); the 626 Desire. I have the Desire 626C from Metro PCS (626 has 16gb and the 626C has 8gb).
