I faced the same issue once I updated the phone.
- TO fix this you need to completely drain the phone's power
- You may use battery drain apps from play store..
Once your phone goes off after power drain , connect charger and charge upto 10% and power on..

And i already substituted the htc with note 3 neo duos and it is better than the htc the battery is 3100 mah for htc it was 2600 mah note 3 neo suppprts usb on the go that htc doesnpt support and also the internal mempry in note 3 is 16 and just 8 in htc and npte 3 neo has 2 gb ram htc has 1.5 htc has better camera 13 mp while note 3 neo 8 mp also htc has sound amplifires that note 3 doesnpt support

By the way when i googled this issue i found it is common issue in the last software and hts didn't reply to any complains and i dont of htc will update this software to a newer one to splve this issue or not so go to the agent and try to substitute it

I purchased htc 816 3months back.Its a awesome device for gaming,music,camera.4G supported.Great looks with front facing speakers.Lite wait.Value for money!!
And @ last i m feel regret about my decesion to buy htc 816.relaible,cool,fast!!

bad experience with this device in one month second time goes for warrnty due to his broken charging pin.first time they change the devise now lets see what they say after tow weeks.....

Camera in LOW light is absolutely dumb, u may get better clarity in Gionee basic phones, in case u look for camera quality in ONLY day time go for this, else this is not the rite piece. The UI is complicated & GIONEE gives better User friendly dial (D1).
