Im using this phone since 2years storage after lolipop is 1.8gb 😒,now htc is planning for the marshmellow 6.0update which will be about 900mb.so what are they thinking idiots (first solve problem of storage)

my HTC 816 always asking HTC sense need to access facebook no option for removing this pop up.

Very good device, have been using it for now over 1 year and have only one concern with it. The phone gets extremely hot at the top of the device when listening to music over stream via mobile network so i have to switch it off!!!, but other than that the camera is perfect with pictures and videos. At first the battery lasted aproximetly a day but after an year it lasts for two days of normal usage with 3g connected all the time... Storage is the biggest issue with the android upgrade but i've managed to deal with it... Overall 9 out of 10 is my opinion cuz no phone is perfect what so ever.

I am using this phablet for more than a year till now it's working good and I find no issue in this.
Camera quality is best. The only problem that I have is it's 8gb internal memory and that problem Will also be fixed when upgraded to android 6...:).on the whole this is a better phablet..!

Just remove your phone body battery board sepperatly but remember dont turn on your phone.then store the parts in a box with 2 or 3 packs of silica gel.:)

I am so disgusted with Amazon, Virgin Mobile and HTC. I bought the HTC Desire 816 and it has a manufacturing defect which causes flash photos to have a dense pink tint. I sent my phone to HTC for warranty repair and they sent it back (or maybe a new phone - I can't tell) in the same condition. Now I have paid Virgin $25 for a replacement and it's the same problem.
Amazon markets this phone as "A photo lover's dream." That's why I bought it. They also rejected my review of the phone. What the heck is going on?
