Hi friends...I have purchased this mobile before 20days and Fon is working is abslutely perfect so I'll suggest you to go with this..This is the best phone If you like big screen mobile..It has boom sound speaker which is awesome.

Im using note2 4g......planning to shift on htc 816...only becoz of itz luks... (classy)...plz let me knw..should I shift or no....on google is showing 23k in india..but here(oman muscat) im getting in 20k..htc desire single sim 4g...white colour..need ur suggestions friends.

Its simply awesome phone. Camera quality best. Front camera good.I am using my HTC from last 20 days its working properly. battary back up is also good.

Using this phone for almost a month now and it works perfect.
Did hang once. Good battery. Decent response time. Awesome display. Hardly any isiissues.
But to mention the photography in night in low light might appear yellow and phone might get a lil warm wen u use it for llong
else thumbs up for this.. Best choice in this price range.

The look of this phone is class apart. Apart from features appearance is also an important factor and desire wins this hands down. Gionee or other brands may provide more or less features but htc quality and service + htc interface is the one that cannot be matched by Chinese brands. Note : I'm not against these brands.
Had an opportunity to see this phone in a store and now buying it this weekend.

its been 15 days that i'm using dark grey htc desire 816. phone is very good but indian version doesnt support 4G, even maximum data speed limit is 14.4Mbps and 42Mbps. htc desire 516 has limit upto 21Mbps ( dont know why). You should get H+ with 14.4Mbps also but I am not getting any H+ data connection. i am getting H only.
rest of the spec like camera sound etc etc are excellent.
