i spoke with the customer care.they said the .2GB is reserved for the os and some important pre-installed apps

I am using this phone for past 4 days but not happy with it,Phone produces so much heat even using it for normal operation like phone calls and data connectivity.I am great fan of HTC and it is my 5th phone of same brand. The processor board used is MSM 8226 but not MSM8928 and the RAM is not of 1.5GB it is 1.3 GB.I have contacted HTC they ask me to check with service center and they says if above issue identified they replace with new one.

i have been using this phone for some time now and faced two problems with the camera:
1)the flash light is yellowish which make the photos taken in dark appear washed out and yellow.
2)in low light anything viewed through the camera appears grainy and noisy.the image may not be quite as noisy but the pic looks bad when zoomed in.
has anyone else noticed this??

All those guys who have brought 816, are you satisfied with this device ? It only can run 9 apps at a time. This is ridicules !

Hi guys plz. Tell me I read all reviews.mainly regarding apps and games whichever downloaded were stored in Phone memory and after can we moved to ext sd card? If not what should I do? If yes how can we moved to ext sd card? Is there any way? If any bady using this mobile and facing this problem please tell me how can I solve this one? For ex. Games like subwaysurf, uc browser,angry birds,temple run and so on... are unable to move ext sd card plz reply me urgent.

I have this phone week ago and is not able to find default file manager. Now why I need it is because this google nonsense folks made android 4.4 in such a way that you can do anything on memory card for e.g. moving files with the help of any third party applications. I tried using polaris document viewer which comes with file browser which works well.. however u can see only document file and not other one..
Does anyone know here how to do it on phone without rooting it?????.. Hell to android 4.4 .. SD card is of no use here..

I just bought this phone
looks good
but battery drain even before Sim is installed?
cell stand by showing nearly 80% is it right?
also android system takes nearly 66%
whether battery is fault?
can anyone reply if u faced similar problem?....

....This phone is recommended...its an overall good phone....kitkat with sense 6 is super fluid...camera performs great(u can check out in the review given by gsmarena)....battery life is good...gaming is smooth...speakers are great and overall a very value for money phone......if the size is a problem go for moto x...else all phones in this range is not worth these two great phones...

Very Very poor Battery..!
Not at all satisfactory with user interface...
Nobbish SIM slots with SD card....
Over all total waste of money...!

in kitkat OS we cannot move, copy or write in SD card while the card is in the phone ..... so when I connect the phone to computer though wifi or bluetooth will i be able to move or copy files from internal phone memory to sd card from the computer.
