lesser functions then other htc's fone like in weathers live wallpapers,photo slide live wallperes in which htc is famous for and no lock screen wigdets editable..
in terms of luks nd display..mind blowing...sound and camera is also gud..but i dont like functions of 816 as campare to butterfly..my brother using butterfly..

Overall the phone is really good but I'm highly disappointed with the back panel and the camera protection. Got this phone 15 days back and now for no reason the rear camera got blurred due to minor scratches which is not supposed to happen and I could not even change it. I had to sell the phone with a loss. Really disappointed.

What is the SAR value of Desire 816? I don't find any SAR information about this device in any website. Is there any SAR info paper inside the box? Expecting reply from original users.

Wanted to buy xperia z seeing my friends one.Got the desire 816 3 days ago.The sound and speed is quite better than xperia z.No overheating problem while net surfing but it overheats when i play games for 20 or more minutes.The camera is good but loses to xperia z in low light.battery life is excellent.The cons are it has got less internal storage and no protection glass.Over all its better than xperia z and best within its expense .

This phone supports 1800 MHz band (for 2G).
I came across an article where it' mentioned that in India soon mobile operators would use this spectrum for 4G (FDD-LTE).
Does this means desire 816 can be 4G enabled when FDD is introduced in India(Hopefully) ?

Using it for ten days.It is an excellent phone the camera is excellent at day light but at low light its disappointing.It doesnt get overheated using net for a long time.The thing that dissapointed me a lot is its internal storage it got alnost full when i installed fifa 14 and asphalt8 and the are not movable to sd card

cant we play the songs stored on sdcard normally using the media player like in samsung phones??the media player is only showing songs in the phone memory!

You cannot uninstall preloaded apps but certainly can Disable them. This will release some RAM
